Buying Alcohol at World Duty Free
Alcohol can only be purchased by passengers over the age of 18. To ensure that we remain within the law our World Duty Free store staff reserve the right to request proof of age (via passport or valid photo I.D) from any passenger who appears under the age of 25.
From 1 January 2021, all passengers travelling outside of the UK can purchase duty free alcohol and tobacco. There are certain limitations on duty free shopping set individually by governments of each country or economic region. Note, that in case of exceeding these limits you may be asked to pay the duty and tax difference on them. Read further information on Custom Allowances.
