Penderyn make award-winning whiskies and spirits at their distillery in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales. Penderyn Distillery’s signature and multi-award winning range of whiskies was originally launched in 2004. Welsh gold is extremely rare, pure and precious and the whiskies reflect those qualities. A unique single copper pot distillation produces an exceptionally clean and fruity spirit matured in ex-bourbon barrels. Penderyn Faraday is a 46% whisky, presented in Penderyn’s bespoke 70cl bottle. Launched in 2018 as a travel retail exclusive this whisky begins life in ex-bourbon casks and is finished in ex-ruby port casks. It is named after our unique Faraday still (designed by Dr David Faraday when he worked at the University of Surrey and a descendant of the world famous inventor) which produces a pure, flavoursome and fresh spirit at an industry high of 92%.
